Description: A postcard dating from 1904 showing the celebration of the introduction of electric trams to Bruce Castle. Bruce Castle is a Grade I listed 16th Century manor house in 20 acres of parkland in Haringey, London. The Metropolitan Electric Tramways Co. introduced the service in 1904. The markings on the tram appear to show Lorship Lane to Bruce Grove. The flag in the picture shows Prosperity to the tramways.
