A map of the station area of Benfleet showing the High Street. The OS map is thought to date from around 1937. The property on the corner by the Half Crown present on the 1922 map is no longer there and some of the properties on the hill by St Mary's church leading upto the Anchor pub and the corner have disappeared between 1922 and 1937. The war memorial is shown as this was build April 1922. |
